Campus Wide Backwards Planning

For many of us, summer= Quadrant 2 time. Without the urgent to-do items that pop up daily when students are in school, summer gives us the rare opportunity to spend more time thinking & planning long term, rather than day to day. So this week’s Video of the Week actually comes from a Collection we created called ‘Course Planning: Scope & Sequence’. This collection features a variety of videos on how teachers think & approach their long term plans prior to the start of the year.
Plus, we’ve attached some resources to the collection including two blank Scope & Sequence templates you can use to help with planning (one formatted in Microsoft Word, the other in Excel), along with three real examples from teachers featured in the library. You can find the Scope & Sequence Collection on the Mission 100% site, under the ‘Collections’ tab on the left hand side.
