Physical Space in a Literacy Classroom

Jul 6, 2015 | by Janice Smith

During the summer we often spend a lot of time thinking about both our long term academic plans for the year, as well as our classroom culture and physical space.  So this week we’ve created a brand new Collection for you (live on the site!) called ‘Physical Space in a  Literacy Classroom’.  We think this collection of videos from Emily Cirino’s MS English classroom will help get your creative juices flowing about how to use the walls to reinforce academics, help support classroom routines, as well as build a strong classroom culture centered around a love of reading.

Here you’ll see one great idea, but if you head over to the site and check out our Collections, you’ll find the full collection there with 6 other great ideas!
